Dr Jonathan Darby is an Infectious Diseases physician with appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital, Werribee Mercy Hospital, Melbourne and St Vincent’s and Mercy Private Hospital. He obtained his undergraduate qualifications from the University of Melbourne and has a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
He has a broad range of interests covering the spectrum of infectious diseases including community and hospital associated infections including tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis and travelers health.
He has research interests in tuberculosis, endocarditis, appropriate use of antibiotics in immune compromised patients. He has appointments at The University of Notre Dame, Melbourne School as Discipline Leader in Medicine and The University of Melbourne.
